2019 - 2020 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
*** NEW ***2019 - 2020 online registration for Tryouts and Conditioning Camps will be moving to a new portal operated by Team Snap.
You will require your players Hockey Canada ID number in order to proceed with registration. The link below provides options for obtaining your player’s Hockey Canada ID number if you do not have it. The Respect in Sport method is recommended.
1). Registration for tryouts (Bantam, Minor Midget, Midget, Junior B) is separate from registration for conditioning camp.
2). All returning players must contact the applicable Division Coordinator to inform them of any tryout times that will be missed. Returning Bantam aged players must attend a minimum of 2 tryout games in order to eligible to be drafted to a team.
3). Players that have not played for the CNHA in the previous season must attend a minimum of 3 tryout games to be eligible to be drafted to a team.
4). Goalies that have not played for the CNHA in the previous season must attend the goalie only tryout session as well as a minimum of 3 tryout games to be eligible to be drafted to a team.
5). CNHA players attending Junior camps (WHL, AJHL), MUST have a Junior Camp Letter of Permission from Hockey Calgary website (https://www.hockeycalgary.ca/forms/letter-of-permission). Players are responsible to inform the applicable division coordinator of camp information (team, dates).
6). Cancellation from tryouts will only be accepted for valid medical reasons with accompanying doctors note and subject to a $25.00 administrative fee, there will be no refunds for any other reason.
7). All players are advised to also register in their home community hockey association, in case their attempt to make a CNHA team is unsuccessful.
NOTE: First Time Calgary Northstars Hockey Association Registrants Only
If you are registering with CNHA for the first time (NOT Bantam Combine), your child’s hockey profile must be “shared” by Hockey Calgary with CNHA before you will be eligible to register for conditioning camps or try outs.
